Stainless steel– sophisticated and indestructible
Stainless steel provides never-ending inspiration for new design ideas. In addition to the lasting aesthetics and high quality of the material, its functional advantages are unbeatable: it is highly resilient, hygienic and easy to clean. No wonder stainless steel is the classic among sink materials. It is preferred by professional chefs and the best-selling sink material worldwide for good reason.

What makes stainless steel so durable and timeless, so flexible and robust? Chrome-nickel steel is referred to as stainless steel, and thus, it is steel alloyed with chrome and nickel, in addition to iron (18/10 Cr-Ni-steel). As a result, the material is completely rust-proof, mostly resistant to heat and acid, impact-proof and elastic and because its surface is non-porous it is absolutely hygienic and easy to care for – simply indestructible. Also, since stainless steel can be fully recycled, it is truly ecofriendly. Based on its alloy, the material number of chrome nickel steel is 1.4301.

The most important features of sinks and bowls made of stainless steel:

  • timeless and high-quality aesthetics
  • easy to combine with other materials (stone, wood, etc.)
  • food-safe and hygienic
  • stainless, mostly acid-resistant and stain-resistant
  • lightfast
  • heat-resistant
  • durable
  • easy to clean and maintain
  • ecofriendly (fully recyclable)

Carbon sinks
High-end with high-tech. As an expression of technological advance and innovative power in its purest form, carbon turned into the leading material of the 21st century. Its strength and energy intake make it the vital innovation driver in high-tech industries, such as the aviation industry, shipbuilding and automotive production. Now the innovative material can be also successfully used and experienced in the kitchen. Even in high-tech kitchens this surface is a highlight that will mesmerize and inspire guests and homeowners alike.
Carbon is a fascinating material for the new Schock sinks made of carbon quartz composite, not only because of its exclusive, previously unmatched look, but also because of the highest stability and strength combined with exceptional lightness, a long-term thermal stability and a non-corrosive and impact-resistant surface.

Schock Granite Sinks: Cristalite Plus
Schock sinks are composed of approx. 80 % quartz, the hardest component of granite. Consequently, they are called „granite sinks“. The quartz is bound by the highest quality of acrylic. The composition of acrylic and quartz makes the sinks extremely resistant against scratches and dirt and is responsible for their longevity. The Schock materials have been developed specifically for the requirements of kitchens. The strains of everyday use leave no traces on the Schock sinks. They are extremely durable and easy to clean; red wine, coffee or heavy pots are no match for them.

Cristalite Plus is the further development of the popular and fashionable material Cristalite. It now has substantially improved qualities. Cristalite Plus has optimized easy cleaning; dirt causing bacteria cannot stick to the material surface in the first place. The material is robuster and radiates a new brilliancy. Cristalite Plus is also food safe, UV-resistant and very resistant against scratches.
